Bradenham Manor
This manor was Isaac D’israeli’s tenancy for 19years. Benjamin Disraeli lived here in childhood. The D’israelis were jewish but converted to christianity and therefore changed their name to ‘Disraeli’. After 1848 when Isaac died his son Benjamin Disraeli bought Hughenden Manor. Benjamin was a politician and novelist by then. The article details the property and alterations to Bradenham Manor.
