Notes about Chestertons autobiography detailing his life. From early 1900’s in London to his move to Beaconsfield. He and his wife Frances lived in Top Meadow and then in Overroads. Details are provided of their local support of good causes, including the convalescent home run by Miss Hennell. Some snippets of poetry are included. Gilbert’s secretary came to live with them and as they couldn’t have children Frances adopted his secretary Dorothy Collins almost like her daughter. Photographs are included
