The mill in the valley
Research notes about the mills found on the river Wye which flows through High Wycombe, Wooburn and into the Thames at Bourne End. Eleven water mills were held by Walter of Lude in the Domesday Book. Includes mention of Jonathon Kingham being the owner of Tredway Mill who issued a token in the 17th century. Glory Mill was owned by Wiggins Teape – sold for development in 2000. Marsh Mill owners also detailed.
