Pupil-teachers and an American poet.
The cutting is part of the Nostalgia Series and describes the founding of the new Beaconsfield National School in Windsor End in 1873. It looks at the history of the school, including the use of pupil-teachers and the impression of the school by the American poet Robert Frost when considering the schooling of his children. There are also photographs of the old school building when it was empty and another of the current building which is now the Beaconsfield Masonic Centre.
