Newspaper article entitled 'Gosh! The Famous Five were nearly killed off by a bored Enid Blyton'
Article was written on the centenary of the author’s birth and the unveiling of a blue English Heritage plaque at her former home in Surbiton SW London. It describes how Enid Blyton only wanted to write six (6) books in the Famous Five series but under pressure from publishers she eventually wrote twenty-one (21) stories. It also gives details about her life. Two photos, one in colour of her daughter Gillian Baverstock at the unveiling, and one black and white photograph of Enid Blyton.
