Notes entitled "Hall Place, a brief history".
Notes on the history of Hall Place built in 1735/6; formally known as The Place, it was privately owned until sold to Rev William Mussage Bradford in 1818 when it became a school for “the sons of Noblemen and Gentlemen”. Subsequently acquired in 1857 by Magdalen College, Oxford for use as the new Rectory. This continued until 1979 when it returned to private ownership. Other former owners named.
