Article is celebrating the Bellhouse 50th anniversary. Details include its construction in 1933, used as a training facility in the second world war, later it housed Italian Prisoners of War. It was bought by Maurice Cedar in 1947 it was a successful banqueting venue. De Vere bought the Hotel in 1963 from when it has undergone many additions and alterations.
