General interest article concerning the alleged Discovery of Noah’s Ark. Detailed account of visit of Bucks Archaeological Society to Beaconsfield where they inspected the church, Burke’s tomb, Wallers tomb, derivation of the name of Beaconsfield (a clearing in beech woods). The society then had lunch at Wilton Park courtesy of Mr Du Pre. They then continued on to Bulstrode the seat of the Duke of Somerset, finally going to the cruciform church at Gerrards Cross and on to Hedgerley church. Letter to the editor of the South Bucks Free Press regarding the tomb found at Taplow and its possible date. Article on the coming of age of H L W Lawson including peal of bells, fireworks, tenant dinner, and Grand Ball. John Rolfe, agent for Hall Barn is to issue tickets for people to be admitted into the park. Followed by detailed account of the celebrations of Mr Harry Webster Lawson’s coming of age. Mentions his forthcoming marriage to Miss Olive de Bathe at St Margaret’s Westminster.
