5 cuttings of Petty sessions some held at the Saracens Head 27th January 1882. . J Bramley-Moore Chair Local tried for unlawful possession of a gun. Witness Mr Rolfe, Trivial stealing wood, and assault. January 13th 1882 Guilty to abandoning wife and children. who had been sent to the workhouse destitute. Another asleep in charge of horse and cart. Damaged live fence, drunkenness. 10th March 1882 Several Child non attendance at school. All fined. Furniture put on path for sale and causing obstruction contended. Last asleep in charge of horse. Feb 6th hiding a net used for stealing fish. Stealing wood. Harm to a mare and lastly non attendance at school.24 Feb Keeping of pigs illegally but as a result challenging keeping animals in certain conditions. Details of cases given.
